Truth

Truth in a system is that which is documented, signed, and timestamped.

No Rewriting the Past

Historical records are immutable. Corrections are made exclusively by appending new records.

Document is the Atom

A document is the fundamental unit of truth. Everything reduces to a document.

Events are Append-Only

Every action produces an event. Events are never deleted.

Authority is Explicit

Every action must have an identified actor and valid authority.

No Orphans

There is no transaction without a document.
There is no document without an event.
There is no event without an actor.

Finance Follows Truth

Financial records must be linked to operational documents.

Evidence is Mandatory

The system must be able to export proof independently of itself.

Verification is Read-Only

A third party must be able to verify truth without the ability to modify it.

Prohibitions

The following are forbidden:

• Deleting history
• Hiding changes
• Approving without trace
• Trust without evidence

Compliance

A system that violates this constitutional structure is not PMFA-compliant.
