The Canon
Structure
40 essays. Closed. Interdependent.
Each essay is an axiom. Axioms do not repeat — they reference. Essay 040 requires all 39 before it. Essay 001 requires nothing.
The order is not arbitrary. It is construction.
Authority
The canon is not versioned. It is ratified.
Amendment requires formal process. Iteration is not amendment. If an axiom is modified without formal ratification, the system is no longer PMFA.
This is not rigidity. This is law.
Reading Order
Sequential reading is required for full comprehension. Each essay builds on previous axioms.
Selective reading is permitted for reference. But selective reading does not constitute understanding.
There are no shortcuts. There is only the canon.
Scope
The canon defines:

— What PMFA requires
— What PMFA forbids
The canon does not define implementation. Implementation is the responsibility of the architect. The canon defines what must be true.
